Description

Domaine Michel Mallard, Aloxe Corton Toppe Vert Vintage:2021 The wines more than speak Rose petals The wines more than speak for themselves (50+ year old vines located in the lower section of the Clos) Moderately generous wood sets off the cooler and reserved nose that blends notes of both red and dark currant aromas that are liberally cut with earth and forest floor elements There is fine richness and concentration to the powerful and muscular big bodied flavors that coat the palate with sappy dry extract that contrasts somewhat with the long but somewhat lean finish
