Vougeraie, Vougeot Clos Prieure Rouge Vintage:2020 There is a wonderfully refined Rose petals There is a wonderfully refined mouth feel to the seductively textured medium bodied flavors that are finer but less obviously mineral inflected than the Sentiers on the impressively persistent finish The wine is partly aged in 600 litre barrels The delicious middle weight flavors possess a bit more density along with fine delineation on the mildly austere This is also distinctly earthy with its ripe and very fresh aromas of red and dark pinot fruit that are cut with whiffs of violet and a whisper of oak influence
